Mtambo is a Kenyan locomotive from Chuggington.


Mtambo is a double decker diesel and his job is to take holiday makers down Kahlville-Swahili Branch Line from Kahlville to Swahili for people to visit the seaside and Water resort. He knows a lot about animals because of travelling around the world so he has a lot of exciting stories of his travels. He sometimes helps Irving and the other shunting engines out with the recycling.

Technical Details


Mtambo is of a freelance design. Therefore, he is not based on a specific prototype. However he does resemble a Kenya Railways Class 87.


Mtambo is painted in a light mustard like yellow livery, with camouflage like designs on his sides.
